Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System

Our Lady of Lourdes is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS). As the largest locally-owned, not-for-profit health system in the state, the combined service area of FMOLHS covers more than 1.8 million individuals, representing more than 40% of Louisiana’s population. FMOLHS strives to deliver compassionate care to all persons, especially those most in need, by promoting health, wellness and spiritual wholeness.

In addition to Our Lady of Lourdes, other FMOLHS medical facilities include:

St. Francis Medical Center – a 400-bed hospital located in Monroe, Louisiana.

Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center – an 852-bed hospital located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

St. Elizabeth Hospital – a 95-bed hospital located in Gonzales, Louisiana.

In 2011, the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady are celebrating the 100th anniversary of their arrival in North America. They remain strongly committed to serving all of God's people through their ministry of healthcare.
